The traditional International Cycling Tour of North Cyprus is going to be held in North Cyprus on 9-11 February 2018 for the 3rd time.


Hundreds of cyclists will enjoy the green nature of the Mediterranean and history of Cyprus with a race full of spectacular views.  As the first race of the season, we will welcome the new cycling season together in our bike-friendly hotels of our warm, sunny Island. We are planning not only pre-race surprises, but also after parties following the technical meeting, registration and the races.


On the last day of the Tour after 2 stages, there will be a Criterium Race which will increase the excitement and attract cycling fans of the island. Professional cyclists who will pass through different cities of North Cyprus will finish the stages in the magnificent city of Nicosia, Capital of Cyprus. All the cycling enthusiasts are welcome to this excitement. A total of 18 teams and about 300 hundred athletes from all around the world will pedal in 3rd International Cycling Tour of North Cyprus on 9 - 11 February 2018.


Tour of North Cyprus is organized every year in February in order to contribute to the development of cycling sport in the TRNC, encourage active and healthy life, to spread the use of bicycles and to launch bicycle tourism in Cyprus under the auspices of North Cyprus Prime Ministry Sports Department and in cooperation with Ministry of Tourism and other sponsors.


The race will take place in Northern part of the Island of Cyprus with a surface area of 3,355 square kilometers and a population of approximately 315,000. Every year the island attracts millions of tourists because of its large and high quality hotels, sandy beaches and dashy casinos in every season. The capital Nicosia with a population of 45 thousand is the biggest city, however Kyrenia is the most touristic city with its historical harbour and castle.  The average weather and sea temperature during whole year is 19o degrees.  You will fall in love with the Mediterranean Sea, BeĊŸparmak Mountains, green nature and small, historical villages.
